DMNs offerings in the workplace inspires enthusiasm and a strong regard to honor everyone through mutual respect, cooperation and improving employee morale. 


Happy workers are productive workers who will have less sick days and project deadlines will be met with greater ease.


Examples of some of my offerings might be a 1 hour lunchtime workshop, a 2 hour session,6 week course or an ongoing program.

DMN Yoga at Work

Healthy Workers = Happy Workers!

 

Dolores is presently giving the New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital Staff a weekly hour Hatha Yoga class to the Physicians, Nurses, Human Resources, Nutritionists, and Hospital Officers. 

As a Corporate Wellness contractor, DMN is also part of the Wellness Team at NY-PBM working with the Nurses during Wellness Week. I am using 10-15 minute modules to offer the clinicians simple, portable tools they can use in the Workplace and in their Lives. This includes evidence based Stress Reduction Tools, Deep Breathing, Gentle Movement and Stretches, Mindfulness, Imagery and Deep Relaxation to promote better focus and clarity.

The structure on a Corporate level is contingent on the needs of the client. Some companies have hired me to present once while others have hired me on an ongoing weekly basis. I have presented Yoga at Work at the New York Department of Labor Veteran’s Unit, Park Slope Food Co-Op, Brooklyn College, Wave Hill Gardens, Brooklyn Botanic Garden, and Metro Tech.

DMN Chair Yoga at Work

Chair Yoga is an accessible, gentle program that is portable and can be done in work clothes.
Participants will be guided in Postures, conscious breath and meditation. 


This practice promotes physical stability and strength, quells the mind on an emotional and central nervous system level and promotes a sense of tranquility and optimal health.I offer 30,45 minute and 60 minute minute CHAIR Yoga sessions in the workplace.Chair Yoga improves mental acuity, increasing stamina and balance while reducing stress and chronic pain.


Postures may be done sitting and standing with the option to use the chair for support.
